KNEE OA REVIEW

An adult male came to see us with right knee pain and stiffness with a diagnosis of tibiofemoral osteoarthritis. Our goal was to utilize the Knee Kinesiography data to improve his deficient knee biomechanics, decrease his pain and stiffness, and delay the need for TKA.

We saw with our OA report that he had adopted a stiff knee gait pattern with a large amplitude of external and internal tibial rotation.

Being able to target his abnormal knee kinematics allowed us to provide corrective therapeutic exercises to help reduce his knee pain and prevent further progression of OA.
